The UAE’s telecom watchdog is surveying places across the country to improve mobile phone services. The Telecommunications and Regulatory Authority (TRA) has announced it’s making use of new technology to carry out the initiative, called ‘Coverage’. Reports of service disruption will be submitted to a 'coverage monitoring room', which will work to fix the problem. It aims to ensure that mobile phone users are satisfied with telecom services, wherever there are in the emirates. ARN News spoke to the head of wireless networks and services at the TRA, Engr. Mohammed Al Jdah.
