Trucks will not be permitted access in residential neighbourhoods and internal roads in Ras Al Khaimah.
The announcement was made by the Ras Al Khaimah Police, which said the restrictions will be in place from 6:30 am to 8:30 am and from 1.30 pm to 3:00 pm.
Special permits will be available for truck drivers to pass through Ras Al Khaimah neighbourhoods without facing a traffic violation.
According to the report, some vehicles from service institutions are excluded from the rule.
