UAE air defences intercept 9 drones on Wednesday

The UAE air defences intercepted 9 drones on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Defence.

Since the start of Iran's attacks, the UAE have now intercepted 357 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,815 drones.

These attacks resulted in the deaths of three members of the armed forces as well as six civilians of Pakistani, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, and Palestinian nationalities.

There have also been injuries to 166 individuals, ranging from minor to moderate to severe of Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish, and Tunisian nationalities.

The Ministry of Defence affirmed that it is on high alert and readiness to deal with any threats and to firmly counter all attempts to undermine the security of the state, in a manner that ensures the protection of its sovereignty, security, and stability, and safeguards its interests and national capabilities.
