UAE air defences respond to missile threats early Wednesday

UAE air defences have been dealing with further missile and drone threats from Iran, with the latest alert issued on Wednesday at 4:05 a.m.

The public is reminded when an emergency alert is received to head to a safe location and follow official channels for updates.

Authorities also confirmed sounds heard across parts of the city were the result of successful air defence interception operations.

A number of alerts have been issued throughout the night, at 3:31 a.m., 12:31 a.m. and Tuesday night at 11:27 p.m.
