The UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has met his Zambian counterpart to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the two countries.
Sheikh Abdullah received Mulambo Haimbe, Zambia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, during talks held in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
According to the UAE’s foreign ministry, the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation across a range of sectors aligned with the development priorities of both nations, with the aim of advancing shared economic and strategic interests.
Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to building long-term development partnerships with Zambia, saying such cooperation supports prosperity and well-being for both countries.
The two ministers also exchanged views on current regional and international developments.
