UAE announces 271 new cases of COVID-19, 352 recoveries

The UAE has announced 271 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 57,193.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 27,000 new coronavirus tests were carried out across the UAE.

One death related to COVID-19 in the UAE has been reported over the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 340.

Meanwhile, 352 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 49,621. 

This means there are currently 7,232 active cases in the country.
