UAE announces 283 new COVID-19 cases, 283 recoveries

The UAE has announced 283 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 60,506.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 54,727 new coronavirus tests were carried out across the UAE.

It was also confirmed that two people have died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 351.

Meanwhile, 283 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 53,909 in the UAE.

This brings the total number of active cases in the emirate to 6,246.
