UAE announces 401 new cases of COVID-19, 492 recoveries

The UAE has announced 401 new cases of COVID-19, taking the overall tally in the country to 54,854.

According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), more than 50,000 new coronavirus tests were carried out across the UAE.

It has also confirmed that two more people have died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 333.

Meanwhile, 492 people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 45,140 in the UAE.

This means that there are currently 9,381 active cases in the country.
