The UAE government has announced Eid Al Fitr holidays for the public and private sectors.
According to the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), Eid holidays for the UAE public sector will begin on Thursday, March 19, until Sunday, March 22, with work resuming on Monday, March 23.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation said private sector will begin their Eid break from Thursday, March 19, until Saturday, March 21.
The ministry clarified that if the holy month of Ramadan lasts for 30 days, which the moon sighting committee will confirm on March 18, then the holiday will extend to Sunday, March 22, for the private sector.
