The UAE’s Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security has confirmed that all necessary measures are in place to ensure uninterrupted airport operations in response to recent regional developments and airspace closures in neighbouring countries.
The authority says it activated its emergency business continuity plan as soon as developments unfolded, working closely with operational partners to minimise disruption and maintain the smooth and safe movement of passengers.
Extra teams have been deployed to airports, staffed with trained personnel available around the clock.
Support is also being provided for stranded passengers, including temporary accommodation, logistical help and accurate travel information.
A streamlined entry system is now in place, and coordination with airlines continues for rescheduling affected flights.
The authority thanked passengers for their patience and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining safe, high-quality service.
