The UAE has issued commemorative postage stamps aimed at highlighting the importance of national service. Their release coincides with the completion of the training programme for the second batch of Emirati recruits. The stamps have been launched by the National and Reserve Service Authority and Emirates Post Group. They feature a camouflage background symbolising the armed forces and the slogan of national service. They also commemorate the UAE's historic landmarks.
