The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held talks with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
The discussions took place during Sheikh Mohamed’s official visit to Pakistan and focused on expanding ties in key areas including the economy, investment, energy, development and technology.
Sharif described the visit as an important step forward in UAE-Pakistan relations and a reflection of the strong partnership between the two nations.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international issues, stressing the importance of supporting efforts that promote peace, security and stability worldwide.
Sheikh Mohamed expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and highlighted the deep historical, cultural and people-to-people ties between the UAE and Pakistan.
He reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to broadening cooperation with Pakistan and underlined the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in resolving conflicts.
Sharif praised the UAE’s development initiatives in Pakistan and commended Sheikh Mohamed’s role in advancing regional and global stability.
