UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has visited Qatar to offer his condolences following the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
During a visit to Lusail Palace, Sheikh Mohamed met with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and extended his sympathies to the Al Thani family and the people of Qatar.
Sheikh Tamim thanked the UAE President for his support and heartfelt condolences.
Sheikh Mohamed was accompanied by a delegation that included His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence; His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser; senior officials and ministers.
