UAE President, Turkey's Erdogan discuss combating terrorism

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed the need for concerted international efforts to combat all forms of terrorism during his call with his Turkish counterpart. 

During a call on Sunday, Sheikh Mohamed expressed his deepest condolences to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and people of Turkey, after a recent terrorist attack targeting a Turkish military base killed five soldiers and injured eight people. 

The leaders also discussed bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries across various sectors, as well as regional and international developments of mutual interest.

The Turkish President thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his sincere solidarity with his country and people and wished the UAE continued progress and prosperity.
