The UAE's Ministry of Defence announced it is continuing to intercept incoming missile and drone threats from Iran, with a second update issued on its official channels on Tuesday at 3.30pm.
In a post shared on social media channel X, the ministry advised the community to adhere to the safety and security guidelines.
The first alert was sent out at 8:16 am.
The ministry has been consistently sending out social media alerts, alerting residents to remain in a safe location and follow official channels for warnings and updates.
It reassured the public that the sounds heard are from the interceptions of the missiles and drones by the air defence system.

The UAE later shared an alert at around 8:48 am assuring the community that the situation is safe, and activities can be resumed normally.
