The UAE has delivered 20 tonnes of essential medical supplies and medications to Doctors Without Borders, the Red Cross, Al Awda Hospital, and others in the last seven days.
This aid is vital for maintaining medical services following the collapse of Gaza's healthcare system, with total aid now exceeding 400 tonnes.
The shipment includes medications for the elderly (such as those for blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol), heart medications, pain relievers, antibiotics, respiratory and digestive drugs, essential children's medications, ointments for skin diseases, and various first aid supplies.
The latest aid delivery is part of 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3' which has previously supported Gaza hospitals with medical supplies, ambulances, and equipment, enhancing hospital capacity and service quality for displaced persons, particularly after the entry of medical supplies was halted due to severe conditions in the sector.
The UAE's humanitarian efforts through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 highlight its commitment to swiftly addressing the needs of the Palestinian people and providing timely and necessary assistance amidst the ongoing crisis.
