The UAE has announced the suspension of all inbound passenger flights from Pakistan.
According to the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), the suspension will remain in place until Pakistan sets up a COVID-19 laboratory for testing all travellers heading to the UAE.
The directive also applies to transit flights.
The GCAA says the move is a precautionary measure to ensure the health and safety of all arrivals.
It has called on passengers affected by the latest decision to get in touch with their airline to reschedule their flights.
