Two masterminds of the deadly suicide bombing in Kashmir have been eliminated by the Indian security forces during a massive operation on Monday.
In a statement, the police said two members of the terror group JeM, which had claimed responsibility for the Kashmir attack, have been killed on Monday.
"The encounter is still in progress and the security forces are on the job," police said.
As many as 40 personnel were killed last Thursday, when a JeM terrorist rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into a CRPF convoy on the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Pulwama.
An indefinite curfew has been imposed in the area, with the police urging people to remain indoors.
