5 Dubai outlets fined for breaking COVID-19 safety rules

Five establishments have been penalised by Dubai Economy during the latest round of inspections to ensure compliance with the COVID-19 precautionary measures.

Meanwhile, warnings were issued to 3 other businesses in the Emirate.

A total of 680 establishments were found to be fully compliant with the rules during the latest field visits.

The authority has stressed that the inspections are aimed at educating establishments about the importance of complying with the rules, and urged residents to log violations via the Dubai Consumer app.
