UAE calls on private sector to extend flexible working

Private sector companies in the UAE have been advised to extend flexible working patterns on Tuesday, as heavy rain continued to hit parts of the country.

Taking to their official social media channel, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) said firms must take "necessary (safety) measures" if they plan to resume "outdoor work".

“Companies also need to ensure the health and safety of workers commuting to and from outdoor work locations," the ministry added in its statement.
