UAE, Egypt Presidents discuss regional issues, economic cooperation

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks in Cairo today with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as part of a fraternal visit aimed at deepening bilateral ties.

The leaders met at Al-Ittihadiya Palace, focusing on ways to expand cooperation, particularly in the economic, trade and development sectors.

They also discussed key regional and international issues, including the situation in the Middle East.

Both sides reaffirmed support for a two-state solution as the only path to a lasting peace in the region, and called for intensified efforts toward a ceasefire and a permanent resolution to the crisis in Gaza.

The two presidents also emphasized the importance of strengthening joint Arab action to address growing regional challenges and ensure stability and prosperity.

Sheikh Mohamed was accompanied by a high-level delegation and was officially seen off by El-Sisi as he departed Cairo at the end of his visit.
