A second California doctor has been sentenced on Tuesday to eight months of home confinement for illegally supplying "Friends" star Matthew Perry with ketamine, the powerful sedative that caused the actor's fatal drug overdose in a hot tub in 2023.

The younger son of Hollywood filmmaker and political activist Rob Reiner has been formally charged on Tuesday with first-degree murder in the stabbing deaths of his parents, who were found slain in their Los Angeles home over the weekend.
